Information on this site is general
The guidance on our service pages and blog is general information about vehicles, not advice about your specific vehicle. Every car is different, and nothing here replaces having yours inspected. Please do not use this site to decide whether a vehicle is safe to drive — call us instead.
Where we describe Wisconsin regulations, such as window tint limits, we aim to be accurate and we point you to the underlying rules. Laws change and enforcement varies, so verify anything you intend to rely on legally.
Estimates and pricing
Any price given over the phone or by email before we have inspected the vehicle is an estimate, not a quote. A firm price follows diagnosis. We will not carry out work you have not approved, and if we discover an additional problem during a repair we will contact you before continuing.
Prices mentioned anywhere on this website are illustrative unless we have given them to you in writing for your vehicle.
Warranty on our work
We provide a warranty on the work we perform. The length and scope of that warranty depends on the repair and on the parts used — new, remanufactured and used parts carry different terms, and some manufacturers set their own.
Because of that, the specific warranty for your job is confirmed on your estimate and invoice rather than stated globally here. Ask us for the terms before you approve the work and we will tell you plainly what is covered and for how long.
Warranty covers the parts and labor we supplied. It does not cover damage from an accident, abuse, neglect, continued driving after a fault appears, or work carried out afterwards by someone else.
Vehicles left with us
Please remove valuables before leaving your vehicle. Vehicles left after completion may be subject to storage charges, and Wisconsin law gives repair shops a lien over vehicles for unpaid work.
Loaner vehicles
Loaner vehicles are available to rent, subject to availability and to a separate rental agreement covering insurance, mileage and responsibility for the vehicle. Terms are provided at the time of rental.
Intellectual property
The text, layout, logo and images on this site belong to Auto Care & Audio Center or are used with permission. Please do not reproduce them without asking.
